Starting From A Sleepy Town On The North Shore Of Oahu
My name is Cheyne and I grew up on the North Shore of Oahu in a sleepy town called Waialua, filled with surfers, hunters, and fishermen. We were so far away from city life that none of us even had FM Radio until we got up the mountain.
All we had was static and borrowed cassette tapes from friends for music, but what some of us that were lucky in the 90s had was a 28.8k dial-up modem marketed as 56k.
As an avid outdoorsman and waterman, it became a routine to surf the big North Shore swells during Winter and during Summer spend time fishing and freediving to hunt for food. Always at night though is when the tinkering on the computer would take place.
When I was in elementary school in the 1990s, I taught myself how to build my very first Un-Branded website and register my first Branded .com websites without a penny to my name.
A Mission That’s Close to Home
Fast-forward to the 2020s, and my daughter Marlie is now in elementary school and so it’s the Padawan’s turn to learn about Web Design and Web Development.
Together, we started Clean Design Launch to combine two things we love:
